BRANDING & IDENTITY

During my minor Graphic Design I got assigned to create an identity for an artist. I chose an artist which is also a friend of mine. Resistance Orchestra is an alias of Jason Soesman.

Resistance Orchestra discovers forgotten or undiscovered gems in the music industry. He reuses unique disco, soul, funk, groove, jazz and afrobeat records. A true cratedigger. He turns the vinyls he collects into a DJ set of 1 to 6 hours.

I got a lot of my inspiration from old silkscreen prints. The result is a mix between old and new characteristics with a touch of 70’s and African shapes.
